The Nest
OWYL. Own your life.
From a notepad full of loose ends to a calmer everyday.
01 / OUR STORY
It started with a notepad.
I was running my life from a notepad, ticking things off by hand. Tasks, bills, money people owed me, jobs around the house, family plans, all in different places or in my head.
I wanted to stay in control of my daily life: tick things off, be reminded, and see everything in one view, including budgets and the house. Then I wanted my family in it too, without handing over everything.
We built OWYL to empower others to be better: to feel more capable, make room for what matters and take ownership of everyday life. Not perfect. Not productive every minute. Just a little more in control, one manageable step at a time.
That is OWYL.
A little less in your head.

02 / WHAT MATTERS
Built around real life.
You should own your information
Your tasks, your money, your plans. They belong to you, and you can export or delete them whenever you like.
Sharing should be your choice
You decide who sees what. Family and friends only ever see the parts you invite them into.
Simple beats complicated
A tool you actually open every morning beats a powerful one you avoid. We keep OWYL calm and clear.
Your life, in your language
13 languages. One calmer day.
Use the OWYL app in British English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Arabic, Hindi or Shona. British English is the default. Your own tasks and household notes stay exactly as you wrote them.

Say it with Siri
Set up an Apple Shortcut in Settings, then say “Siri, OWYL task” to capture a task. You can also create a matching iPhone reminder after OWYL confirms it has saved.
Reminders, with a safety net
Run the Sync OWYL shortcut to reconcile supported personal tasks with iPhone Reminders, with conflict checks. This is manual sync, not continuous background syncing. Recurring and shared tasks are excluded; deletions are not mirrored.
Apple Shortcuts and permissions are required. Siri may ask you to unlock your iPhone. Setup and real-device testing are needed before relying on it; Clock alarms are not included.
